Sexual Health
As women, our understanding of sexuality plays a large role in our self-esteem, relationships, and sexual health. This understanding of female sexuality is shaped from a young age which continues to follow us throughout our lives. Unfortunately, within society female sexuality has been a topic of shame and stigma which we are here to break. We strive to engage the discussion of female sexuality while providing tools to encourage an open dialogue between mother and daughter on female sexuality and sexual health. An open dialogue on sexuality and sexual health has been shown to increase contraceptive use, reduce teen pregnancies, reduce rates of HIV and other STIs, and delay sexual initiation. It has also been shown to lead to higher self-esteem and higher female satisfaction in relationships and sexual activity for women of all ages.
